The former minister Dr P Shanker Rao has said that it was not proper for the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to give the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) Board member posts to the leaders who were criticizing the Congress party.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Thursday, Dr Rao said that the party will get a bad name if the Chief Minister gives the posts in this manner. He said that he would have given the posts to the persons who were striving for the sake of the party sincerely. He wondered whether the Chief Minister didn’t get loyal leaders for nomination as the TTD Board members. He said that the leaders who were criticizing the party were getting the posts under the leadership of Kiran Kumar Reddy. (NSS)
