Commissioner Department of Ayush, Govt. of Telangana Dr. A Rajendra has appointed Dr. Shahzadi Sultana Reader, P G Department of Gynaecology, Govt. Nizamia Tibbi College, as Principal Govt. Nizamia Tibbi College. Dr. Shahzadi Sultana has assumed office.
She joined Ayush Department in 1991 and was appointed as lecturer Govt. Nizamia Tibbi College in 1994. In the year 2000 she became assistant professor and promoted as reader in 2007. Dr. Shahzadi Sultana has been the guide of several PG scholars. She is the daughter of late Mr. Mohammed Khaja, retd. lecturer College of Physical Education and sister of Dr. Mohammed Ismail Deputy Director Central Council of Research for Unani Medicine, Chennai and Dr. Bibi Zainab Principal NTR Degree College for Women, Mahboob Nagar. Dr. Shahzadi Sultana is also the member of Board of Studies, NTR University of Health Science, Vijayawada.
