Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Director & Dean, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus has been selected as Best Academic Administrator out of 88 candidates from five nations.
The Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties (ASDF) has selected him after through screening. Chief Minister of Pondicherry N. Rangasamy gave away awards to Dr Sanjay and the winners in other categories in the presence of T. Thiyaga-rajan, Education Minister, Pondicherry and P.Rajavelu, Tourism Minister, Pondicherry recently. Among other dignitaries present on the occasion were V. Prithivrah, Dean, Pondicherry University, M. Dawarakanath, Director, Dept. of Science & Technology and S.Bascaran, Inspector of Police, Pondicherry.
Prof. Ch. Sanjay has been with GITAM University Hyderabad as Director & Dean since June 2009. He is at the helm of affairs of GITAM University for the last three-and-a-half years since the University has started its off-campus at Rudraram, a village near Patancheru on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The campus is developing at rapid pace to become a full fledged educational institution offering mainly engineering courses with a students strength exceeding 3,000.
Prof. Sanjay has 22 years’ experience from industry, research and academic institutions at national and international level. He has already received nine awards in various categories at national and international levels. He is also Reviewer and Member of Editorial Board of 19 International Journals. (NSS)
