Hyderabad, September 07: Dr. S.A. Shukoor, Head of the Dept. of Urdu, Nizam College, Osmania University is promoted as Professor. He is also working as Director, Center for Educational Development of Minorities sponsored by the Dept of Minority Welfare, Govt. of A.P. He was secretary of the Teachers’ Association of Nizam College. He was nominated by the Govt. to be the member of Doordarshan Advisory Committee and Telecommunications Advisory Committee. He has attended many seminars and presented papers. He edited 36 workbooks of classes IX and X published by the Minorities Center.
After his taking charge as the Director of the Minorities Center, the strength of the beneficiary students has increased enormously. He was invited to perform Haj by the Saudi Govt.
