According to Mohammed Abdul Nayeem Vice President Urdu Telugu Literary Forum Association Hyderabad, poet, author, critic, researcher and translator of Urdu Dr. Qutub Sarshaar was conferred with two awards on the occasion of Jashn-e-Telangana.
One award was presented as best Telugu Urdu translator while the other award was presented to him as poet, critic and translator. The awards comprised of a memento, gold medal and a cheque of Rs. 50100.
