Dr Palle Inagurates Indian Pavilion at Japan IT exhibition

High level delegation under the leadership of Dr. Palle Raghunatha reddy, I&PR, IT minister for AP, is visiting Japan to participate in the Japan IT Week-an interact with major Japanese Companies in IT & Electronic sector for mobilizing Technology and Investment.

Today, the first day of the visit, along with Miss Deepa Gopalan Wadwa, Ambassador of India in Japan, Dr. Raghunatha Reddy inaugurated the India Pavilion at Japan IT week Exhibition held at Big-Sight Tokyo. Dr Palle also made a presentation on the initiatives and incentives of the new Government of Andhra Pradesh in IT, Electronics and e-governance areas.

The minister highlighted the need for Japanese collaboration in Technology transfer in Sunrise areas, such as semi conductor design electronic component and smart technology. He impressed upon the participants in the session to come, see and invest in the new state of AP to viable and win-win situation. Further, the Minister visited the Stalls in Exhibition and interacted with the Japanese executers who have demonstrated latest technology in Communications, embedded systems and designs, printed circuit mode manufacturing and fiber connectivity etc.

On May 14, Dr. Palle will be visiting Electronics majors like Sony, NTT data, Toshiba for soliciting their co operation to re build in the new state of Andhra Pradesh. During this visit, the minister will also be meeting Andhra and Telugu speaking nonresident Indian to discuss with them about their status and requirements.(NSS)
