Hyderabad, July 19: (Siasat News) Dr. Mohammed Ali Rafath, IAS took charge as Secretary, Department of Minorities Welfare, from Mr. Lingaraj Panigrahi, Dr. Rafath is an active and honest officer of the state cadre. On account of his clean and honest record. Dr. Y.S. Reddy had appointed him as the Director of Rajiv Vidya Mission to set right the affairs of that department.
After assuming charge, he said that he will review the functioning of Minorities Welfare Department and try to improve their style of working. He told the officials of the Department of Minorities Welfare to take necessary measures to implement Govt. schemes initiated for the welfare and development of Minorities.
