Gorakhpur: Dr Kafeel Ahmed Khan is very much saddened by the rising hatred in the country. Issuing a video on Sunday he appealed people to establish peace, love and communal harmony. He urged people to shut their light for one minute on July 9, at 9 pm to express solidarity with the victims of oppression and violence irrespective of religion.
Dr Kafeel Khan, the suspended paediatrician of the BRD Medical College in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, is out on bail after spending seven months in jail in connection with the deaths of 30 infants allegedly due to lack of oxygen supply at the Baba Raghav Das Medical College (BRDMC) in Gorakhpur in August last year.
