Dr. K. Narayana slams Centre for not according Special Status to AP

Hyderabad: Member of National Executive of CPI, Dr. K. Narayana heavily criticized Govt. of India for not according, Special Status of AP State. He pointed out that at the time of bifurcation of AP, an assurance was given by the Central Govt. that Special Status would be given to AP.

Dr. K. Narayana was talking to newsmen yesterday in Hyderabad. With the refusal of Govt. of India to give Special Status, people of AP have been disappointed.

Dr. K. Narayana advised the CM of AP, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu to support the private bill submitted by Congress MP of Rajya Sabha, Mr. KVP Rama Chandra Rao. He also advised Mr. Naidu to seek support from other parties for this bill so that pressure could be exerted on Central Govt.
