Hyderabad: Dr. Mohammed Junaid Zakir, President of Maulana Azad National Urdu University Teachers’ Association strongly supported 12% reservation for Muslims and submitted a memorandum to the chairman of BCs Commission yesterday. In his representation, he mentioned that Muslims are more backward than SCs and STs and therefore they deserve 12% reservation based on their poverty. Only through reservations, Muslim community can develop its social, economic and educational status.
