Mr. Zia-ul-Haq Husamuddin met Dr. Subramanian Swamy today and discussed the issues related to Muslims. Surprisingly when Mr. Zia asked about the safety of Muslims in India Dr. Swamy said he strongly believe in the protection of Muslim community from any rioting and atrocities and he wants the growth of Muslims.
Mr. Zia told him that he want Muslims to prosper in India and have good communal relationship with majority Hindu community. Mr. Zia said that both Muslim and Hindu leaders should take a step towards building relationship as the condition of Muslims is very pathetic in many areas. Muslim leaders are taking advantage of Hindu far right leaders to create an atmosphere of fear to control and exploit the community.
Dr. Swamy was very courteous and spoke at length about Islam and Muslims.This is one good step when Muslims break the wall and start communicating to build relationship with communities. We never know Allah will change the heart of people.
