New Delhi [India], Nov 14 (ANI): As Bollywood’s leading lady Deepika Padukone has officially tied the knot with beau Ranveer Singh today, fans have been celebrating her D-day on social media by changing their DPs with the hashtag #DPismyDP.
Deepika enjoys an unfathomable fan base that has time and again created frenzy with either film releases or her social media pictures. This time, her fans are celebrating the joyous and special occasion of their favourite superstar by showcasing their love on Twitter as they changed their display pictures with either photo with her or their favourite picture of her. In no time, fans got the hashtag #DPismyDP trending, depicting their love for the actress.
With over 2500 tweets in just an hour, Deepika’s fans showcased massive display of love and affection which has been never seen before.
There has been immense excitement to witness the ‘Chennai Express’ actor tie the knot with every detail of her wedding becoming the talk of the town.
Guests began arriving early in the morning and had gathered on the villas world famous patio for the duo’s traditional Konkani wedding ceremony. A group of 30- 40 guests stood around the railings of the patio, shielding the couple who were seated on the floor as the strains of a pandit’s chanting stretched across this most bucolic of locations.
Security was extraordinarily tight as small powerboats manned by beefy security guards sailed around the smaller boat with journalists on-board.
The main dock of the venue, Villa del Balbianello, as well as the patio itself, was resplendent in hundreds of white roses as the sun shone bright and beautiful for Bollywood’s hottest young couple at Lake Como in Northern Italy.
The couple had announced their wedding on October 21 after dating each other for quite a while. Bollywood’s ‘Bajirao’ and ‘Mastani’ have been inseparable since Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela’ that was released in 2013.
