A 46-year-old woman died of burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze at her residence in Basheerabad of Ranga Reddy District.
According to Basheerabad police, the deceased Sabeel Unissa Begum (46) an Housewife W/o Imtiyaz, she had allegedly setting her ablaze at her residence on July 24, immediately she was rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where she died on Friday late night hours.
Deceased husband and in-laws allegedly being mentally and physically harassed for additional dowry for last few months, deceased taking extreme step of suicide set ablaze herself and ended her life over it.
Basheerabad police shifted the dead body to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives and registered a case of dowry harassment under sections 498 A and 306 IPC against her Husband and In-laws and began investigation. (INN)
