A 29-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to harassment by her husband for more dowry.
The deceased, D Anjamma, took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Hammal Basti in Chilkalguda police limits on Monday night. She was allegedly being harassed by her husband Ashok for the last few months for more dowry. Police have registered a case under Sections 498A and 306 against Ashok and began investigation. (INN)
