Bangalore police arrested Krishnappa, a resident of Basarikatte in Chikkamagaluru district for allegedly slaughtering a cow and storing beef at home.
According to the police, Krishnappa slaughtered a healthy cow and stored around 25 kgs of beef at home, it is also speculated that he frequently used to slaughtered the cattle.
Krishnappa’s taste for beef had led to law and order situation in the past when villagers had complained against him.
Following the information by the villagers that he had store beef, the police arrested the man.
