Door-step delivery of 100 services in Delhi from August

New Delhi: The Delhi Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Tuesday finalised and awarded the tender for the door-step delivery of 100 services in the national capital. The process will begin from August end.

The cabinet had earlier approved the doorstep delivery of 40 services, and on Tuesday another 30 public services were added to the list, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told media after the Cabinet meeting, adding that an additional 30 services will be added within a period of one month of the launch of the programme.

The tender has been given to VFS Global Services to execute this work for a period of three years. The delivery of services will start from August-end, Sisodia said.

The 30 added services include new water/sewer connection, Delhi family benefit scheme, duplicate RC certificate, marriage registration and others.
