The photographs of the Meteorite’s explosion, which have been released in the media, tell many tales.
The surprising thing is that these photographs resemble a painting available in Siasat’s Calligraphy Studio. This painting depicts verse no.35 of Surah Rahman of the Quran, which says, “When fire and smoke are released, you can’t escape”.
It may be noted that in the incident of explosion of the Meteorite, 1500 persons were injured, many windowpanes were broken and many building were shaken. There was chaos everywhere. It is said that nearly 3000 building were affected. People didn’t know what had happened. They were running here and there to know the whereabouts of their kith and kin. Russian Science Academy declared that the weight of the meteorite was around ten tons. It entered the atmosphere of the Earth with a speed of 54 thousand Km per hour.
