Hyderabad, February 10: Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Friday appealed to all pro-Telangana activists to participate in the convention being organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at Nizam College Grounds on Saturday. The convention is being organised to mark the conclusion of 22 days Telangana Poruyatra in the Telangana districts.
Talking to media persons while conducting door-to-door campaign at Amberpet in the city, Kodandaram called upon the Telangana people not to withdraw the agitation until the government announces its decision on the Telangana statehood. He accused the Congress and TDP of being responsible for the delay in the Centre taking decision on statehood. He exhorted the people to teach a fitting lesson to both the parties in the ensuing by-elections.
Kodandaram said that the JAC would intensify its agitation from April and would not withdraw until the Centre takes a favourable decision on Telangana. He thanked the BJP for extending its support to the statehood agitation.
