TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu has asked the people not to read the Sakshi newspaper being run by the jailed YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Addressing meetings during his ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ pada yatra in the district on Monday, he said no one should read Sakshi newspaper as it was publishing false reports. He said the late Chief Minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had allowed his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to plunder one lakh crore rupees. Naidu did not spare even the present Congress leaders. He said they were all now busy plundering the state. He said there was need to save the state from the hands of the Congress leaders.
Naidu had reiterated that he would implement loan waiver to the farmers if his party came back to power. Alleging that the Congress party had created chaos in the country, he said residents of both the urban and rural areas were in deep trouble because of the lopsided policies of the government.
Charging that the Congress was a party of land grabbers, he said though the government was not supplying power, it was sending exorbitant bills. Claiming that power was supplied for 24 hours a day, he said even revenue had shot up during his rule. He has alleged that now the increased government revenue was going into the pockets of a few leaders. He told the people not to be apathetic towards the issue as it was their money that was being plundered. Chandra Babu Naidu also said that as the corrupt had purchased all the available gold, the price of the precious metal had shot up. Naidu also alleged that the Chief Minister had entrusted the duty of smuggling the red sanders in Tirumala hills to his brothers. Stating that the Chief Minister was bringing bad name to Chittoor district, Naidu said Lord Venkateswara would punish him in future. He has assured the students that they would be trained in courses that would ensure gainful employment to them.(NSS)
