The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has on Tuesday interacted with the victims of Uttarakhand floods at the AP Bhavan and consoled them.
Speaking on the occasion, he said it was a national calamity and should not be politicized. He said everyone come to the aid of the victims, cutting across party lines. He has asserted that his government was trying to rescue every Telugu stranded in the floods. He also said the government was planning direct flight from Dehradun to AP. He said special police forces were being deputed to Uttarakhand to help in the rescue operations. Union minister Chiranjeevi also talked to the victims in AP Bhavan and assured them all possible help from the union government. (NSS)
