Hyderabad, September 26: For surveillance on naxalites, the state police will deploy aero planes without pilots. This was disclosed by Mr. Dinesh Reddy, DGP while talking to newsmen yesterday. Attempts is also being made to procure a helicopter also for relief work. With the help of such planes, it would be possible to detect explosive materials. These planes will also send pictures of movements of Maoists in forests.
About the Maoist forces, the DGP disclosed that they have a cadre of 340, out of 120 are on the borders of A.P.
He informed that the notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors of Police will be issued in December 2011.
Mr. Dinesh Reddy, D.G.P. of A.P. warned the Telangana agitators to be in their limits, otherwise police will take action against them. Addressing a press conference at Police State headquarters, the D.G.P. said that the police has made elaborate arrangements to force Telangana agitation. The police force is ready to face any emergency situation. The DGP told that police force has been deployed at Railway, bus stations and Govt. offices. He appealed to the people not to be afraid of any situation because the law and order position in the state is under control. He told the agitators to record their protests in a peaceful and democratic manner.
