Don’t construct Ram temple by shedding blood of Muslims: Mohammed Azam Khan

Rampur: National General Secretary of SP Azam Khan said, do whatever you want but don’t construct Ram temple by shedding blood of Muslims. He said we will abide by the law.

Answering a question asked by media persons regarding the congregation of Hindu organisations on November 25 in connection with the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said it is an election issue. Had it been Ram temple issue, the decision would have been taken long ago. It is not a secret what they did in 1992.

The court order, the affidavit of the then chief minister Kalyan Singh in which he had clearly written that ‘we will do nothing on Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi site which is not permitted by the court’. Despite that blood of innocents was shed there. They are doing politics on temple since then. They are in power and can go to any extent to regain power.

Mr Azam said Supreme Court has given time, but before that all Hindu organisations including BJP, RSS and VHP want to do as they wish, setting aside the law.
