New Delhi: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today insinuated Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to be working as a contract killer for the idea of India and asked him to apologiSe immediately.
BJP Spokesperson termed Congress Presidents’ ‘language, behaviour and thoughts’ to be ‘very disappointing’ and catechized, “Are you (Rahul Gandhi) a contract killer of the idea called India? Today what Rahul Gandhi has done is unforgivable. He said that ideology that is ruling India is comparable to Muslim Brotherhood. We must remind him that while addressing as a leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi is heard throughout the world and when he says that the idea which governs the country today is akin to that of a terrorist organization, he is talking of present-day Government in such condemnable terms.”
Intensifying their attack on Congress President, BJP spokesperson made several critical remarks and said, “Rahul Gandhi has no maturity and no understanding of India. He has no leadership quality. The only quality that Rahul Gandhi possesses is hatred towards Modi.”
BJP spokesperson also highlighted the voluntary role of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) during recent Kerala floods and said, “If Rahul Gandhi says that we are Muslim Brotherhood, he must see on social media how RSS workers are involved in rescue and relief operation of Kerala floods. Before claiming that RSS is trying to change the nature of this country he must remember that RSS was called to republic day by first Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru.”
At the end of his blistering verbal attack, Patra culminated with demanding an unconditional and immediate apology by Gandhi scion.
“We want to ask him why he has such hatred for democracy. We serve the people of this country and they have selected us and elected us. Congress had a concept of centralization that power should revolve around one family. We demand that Congress President must apologize to 125 crore public of India from London itself”, he said.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi is currently on a visit to the United Kingdom. He made remarks on RSS and its ideology during an interaction at Institute of Strategic Studies earlier today.
