Several persons and organizations on Saturday called on TDP president and CM-designate N. Chandrababu Naidu in the NTR Bhavan and handed over contributions for construction of new capital for the residual State of Andhra Pradesh.
Cine actress Ramyasri presented a cheque for Rs One lakh to the CM-designate. Similarly, Anantalakshmi Institute of Technology and Sciences chairman M. Ananta Ramudu presented a cheque for Rs 50,016 to Naidu. The AP Motor Vehicles Inspectors and Technical Officers Association has announced one day’s salary as their donation for the new capital. One Aluri Lalitha contributed Rs 20,000 cash.
Bhavishyavani founder and prominent astrologer Narasimhachary and Political analyst Priya Choudhary called on Chandrababu Naidu and briefed him about their plan of building Swarnandhra Pradesh. They also said they would make one crore people write Ramakoti and donate the resultant income as their contribution for building a new capital for AP. (NSS)
