Srinagar, March 21: A youth hailing from Bihar allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at a house in Anantnag where he was working as a domestic help, police said today.
Govind Ram, 22, was found hanging at the house of Dr Nazir Ahmad at Gulshanabad, 60 kms from here, last night. He picked up work at the doctor’s place six months back.
Police said Ram was alone in the house and was found dead by the doctor on his return from the hospital.
The motive behind his suicide was not immediately known, they said.
Meanwhile, Bashir Ahmad Dar was found dead near his house in Tral, 45 kms from here, in Pulwama district last night.
The body bore no injury marks and has been handed over to his family after post-mortem, police said.
