Mumbai: A 21-year-old domestic help was arrested for allegedly looting jewellery worth Rs 46 lakh from his employer’s house.
Vijaykumar Sanjeevani was arrested last night.
On November 7, Sanjeevani, who hails from Nainigad in Uttar Pradesh and who had got the job as domestic help only two days earlier, robbed his lady employer of gold and diamond jewellery and fled.
“We nabbed him from Gavdevi area in south Mumbai last night,” senior police inspector, Bandra police station, Pandit Thackeray said, adding further probe is on.
