In separate cases, two men committed suicide allegedly due to domestic disputes with their wives.
In Tappachabutra police limits, 30-year-old Shaik Azeem committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Sarwar Nagar of Jhirra on Wednesday morning. He was a fruit vendor. He was reportedly upset after his wife went to her parents’ house about 15 days ago over some domestic dispute. The same is suspected to have driven him to the extreme step.
In a similar case, Sunil Singh, 32, died of burn injuries which he suffered after setting himself ablaze at his residence in Masab Tank on Tuesday. He succumbed a few hours after admission in the Gandhi Hospital. According to Saifabad police, Sunil, a labourer, took the extreme step after having an argument with his wife over some trivial issue.
