Dog-to-English translator fully funded by crowd funding site

A new translator for those who want to talk to the animals has now been fully funded for development.

The dog-to-English translator technology needed 10,000 dollars in funding but as already earned exceeded its target by 5000 dollars, with two months still to go on the Indiegogo crowd funding site, News.com.au reported.

‘No More Woof’ uses a headset to measure brain activity through lightweight electroencephalography (EEG) and translates the mental states they read there, and is in the early stages of development.

The Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery has claimed that they have already translated some canine thoughts, and the translation will be heard from a gramophone-like plastic trumpet attached to the headset.

They added that their technology is “110 per cent animal-friendly”. (ANI)
