Mumbai, September 06: Again the ‘Barbie girl’ of Bollywood Katrina Kaif and the ‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra are competing with each other for their rank on the top of the list among actresses.
This time it’s not at all about any kind of endorsements of brand, this is all about emerges of both the actresses for the forthcoming movie Dostana- 2 which is the sequel of previous flick Dostana which was a blockbuster hit.
In the upcoming flick Katrina is replacing Priyanka and will act with co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and hunk John Abraham. Thus, the actress of the previous flick Dostana, Priyanka Chopra is feeling a bit inferior and insecure.
Whatever if Priyanka Chopra has already three continuous blockbuster hits like Fashion, Dostana and Kaminey in her kitty, she feels threatening with Katrina Kaif. On the other hand Priyanka revealed that she isn’t.
“I compete with everyone instead of just one person…But more than anyone, I compete with myself,” Priyanka told to a news daily.
Priyanka also added that whenever she does a film she wants to perform better than her last work. True indeed, she has gone from strength to strength from ‘Dostana’ to ‘Fashion’ for which she’s even won the best actress award and now for her previous blockbuster hit ‘Kaminey’ for which she’s likely to bag a couple of nominations next year too.
As adding another feather to her hat she is going to place a record in Guinness Book of World Records for playing 12- different characters in her forthcoming click “What is Your Raashee?” under the direction of famous director Ashutosh Gowarikar
Priyanka cleared the rumours saying that she is herself not expecting to bag for a sequel because her character walked into the sunset with Bobby Deol at the end of the film and a new female actor is supposed to be needed for the sequel.
