Writer and director Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Mr. Sajid Azmi has prepared a half an hour long documentary film ‘Shehr-e-Urdu Hyderabad’.
The film will be telecast on Doordarshan Urdu Channel on Sunday, at 9:30 am. The film will cover subjects, right from origin of Urdu in Hyderabad to foundation of Urdu University and Urdu as second official language in Hyderabad Deccan. The film highlights the valuable role of Hyderabad in promotion of Urdu language.
