Doctors say all well, BSY goes back to jail

Bangalore, October 19: Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa was on Wednesday shifted to the Bangalore Central Jail from the city’s Victoria Hospital.

Yeddyurappa is in judicial remand till October 22 after his arrest in corruption cases on Saturday.

Within hours of his arrest, Yeddyurappa had complained of breathing difficulties and was moved to the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences (JICS) on Sunday. Doctors attending on him had declared the BJP leader fit on Tuesday as an angiogram revealed no significant blockages in his arteries.

After being discharged from JICS, Yeddyurappa was moved to the Victoria Hospital, sparking allegations that he was avoiding going to jail.
