Shimla, November 10: A case was filed against a doctor of the prestigious Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in the Himachal Pradesh capital Tuesday for allegedly sexually harassing a medical student, police said.
Shimla Superintendent of Police R.M. Sharma said a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the doctor on the complaint of a post-graduate student.
She alleged that the doctor, who is head of the oral surgery department in the Government Dental College, had been physically harassing her for quite some time.
