New Delhi, Nov 25: A doctor serving in a government hospital was arrested today for allegedly locking up and molesting a young woman on the pretext of a medical check-up, police said. The doctor, who is identified as Mathur, allegedly locked her up inside a room on the pretext of a medical examination at the Malviya Nagar government hospital yesterday.
The woman, who went to the hospital due to chest pain, raised an alarm and shouted for help. The doctor tried to flee but was caught and beaten up by a mob.
