Mumbai, December 15: The All-India Port and Dock Workers Federation has threatened to go on a nationwide strike from January 4, following the failure of bipartite wage negotiations with Chairmen of major ports in the country.
“Talks between the Indian Ports Association and the representatives of all recognised unions have failed to reach any amicable solution,” President of All-India Port and Dock Workers’ Federation S R Kulkarni, said in a release.
