DME warns medicos to mend or end

Telangana Government is planning to initiate severe against striking Junior doctors against their one-and-a-half month strike, if they failed to resume duties from November 13.
Medical Education Director Srinivas told mediapersons that the medicos would not be allowed to attend the annual examinations to be held in March. The Government is not in a position to forgive them, he said. “If they fail to fall in line, we will send house surgeons (of other States) to teaching colleges”, he said. He also found fault with the striking medicos for not cooperating with inspection of Medical Council of India. Rural service is a must in Telangana State as it is done in the 16 other States, Srinivas said. (NSS)
