Hyderabad: DJ system is strictly banned during Milad-un-Nabi procession in Hyderabad. The Police has placed stringent regulations to prevent any kind of disturbance and disharmony.
DCP (south) V. Satyanarayana said DJ systems were banned owing to law and order related issues. “We have informed the main organisers of the Milad Juloos and request those joining the main procession to adhere to rules.”
A huge procession from Dargah Quadri Chaman in Falaknuma on Saturday noon is being planned by Sunni United Forum of India (SUFI). This procession will culminate at Moghalpura. Another procession will be taken from Misrigunj and few other localities.
Police Commissioner of Hyderabad, V V Srinivas Rao said that “Our officers assisted by surveillance cameras and plainclothes police teams will monitor the procession. The police deployment is a precautionary measure.”
Apart from these processions, two public meetings and blood donation camps have been planned. A public meeting will be organized by The All India Majlis Tameer-e-Millat at Nizam College ground at 9 am on Saturday.
Another meeting will be organised the next day at Chanchalguda ground at 9 pm. Maulana Abu Talib Rahmani, renowed Islamic scholar of Kolkata and Acharya Pramod Krishnam, president of All India Sant Samithi, will participate in the meeting.
