Haribabu Yadav, the organizer of the festival, said that “Sadar celebrated on a bullish note across Hyderabad,” This festival is being celebrated for more than 100 years.
This year we had thousands of people attracting to super buffalo ‘Sartaj’ brought from Veer Singh of Haryana state on Tuesday in buffalo show. Sartaj is 25 tonnes national champion in various competition. We have also brought Shahensha, Maharaja, and Yuvraj” he added.
The bull attracted thousands of people in Narayanguda with its best physical appearance and different horns.
Sartaj weight is 1,600 kilo. We take extremely good care of the animal; feed it with 20 litres of milk per day, three kilograms of dry fruits and 50 to 100 apples daily. It is taken on a walk of about four kilometres every day.
The buffalo shows were held in Narayanguda at YMCA circle, Musheerabad, Tolichowki, Saidabagh, Kondapur and Malkajgiri.
The Sadar festival was celebrated under the leadership of Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cinematography, Home Minister of Telangana Mahmood Ali, Former Home Minister, Nani Narasimha Reddy, GHMC Mayor M. Ram Mohan Rao, Chairman of Hyderabad Yadav Sena Kattela Srinivas Yadav, and other members of Yadav groups graced the occasion.
