Diwakar ridicules talk of no-trust moe against Kiran

The ruling party has already seen the strength of the no-confidence motion against Kiran Kumar Reddy government in the past, senior Congress leader and MLA J.C. Diwakara Reddy on Saturday said they have guts to face yet another motion.

Speaking to the media here, Diwakar Reddy said the Opposition parties have no adequate strength to oust the Congress government in the State by a no-trust motion and that was the reason why Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy slapped his thigh indicating that he was ready for the battle on the floor of the House. Diwakar Reddy said the Opposition parties harping on no-confidence motion reflected their foolishness and political bankruptcy.

Stating that the party bosses have immense confidence in the sitting MLAs, the former minister said the ruling party was ready to prove its majority on the floor of the House whenever occasion arises. Stating that the Chief Minister was examining the resignations submitted by some party legislators, he said the Speaker would take a decision on the issue after personally speaking to the party legislators.
