TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that distribution of clothes by the IT Minister KT Ramarao amounts to bribery, and said that the contractors gives gifts in the same manner after completing their works.
In a chit-chat with media at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Bhatti asked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who asked the people to hit with chappal those who asked bribe, to tell as to what to do if bribe was given in the form of gifts. He also asked KCR to tell as to how gifts will be given from public exchequer. Responding to a question, Bhatti said that if the place where Nagarjuna Sagar project was constructed was wrong, then KCR has to construct another project at Nandikonda. Alleging that KCR was just changing the names of projects designed by the previous Congress government, the TPCC working president said that KCR was stating that Kaleswaram project was new one, but it was new only to companies and some individuals. Exuding confidence that the Congress party will be in good place than TRS party in the next elections, Bhatti said that there was no clarity on Nalgonda Parliament by-elections.
Reacting on ‘simultaneous elections’, Bhatti opined that Jamili elections were not good for the democracy and said that the states were bending at the centre due to GST. (NSS
