District Collector S A M Rizvi today directed officials concerned to address the grievances of people within a stipulated time. After receiving representations from the people, during Prajavani programme, held at the Krishna district head quarters, Machilipatnam, he directed officials to resolve all the grievances within a stipulated time.
Andhra Pradesh Washermen Association president K Satyanarayana Rao, at the Prajavani programme, urged the Collector to take steps to extend Rs one lakh loan on subsidy, to the eligible washer men.
He apprised the Collector that there were more than 50,000 belonged to washermen community in the Krishna district and they were living in a pathetic state, and appealed to provide help to them. Several officials including Joint Collector Gourav Uppal, RDO I Venkateswara Reddy, DRO V V Subba Reddy and DHMO Sarasajakshi attended. UNI
