The Congress Legislature Party on Wednesday demanded that all rebel MLAs and MLCs be disqualified with immediate effect.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, CLP Secretary and Pargi MLA Ram Mohan Reddy and Alampur MLA A Sampath Kumar welcomed the serving of notice by the High Court to Assembly Speaker S Madhusudan Chary and Council chairman Swamy Goud on the issue of action against legislators who defected to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. They said that the Speaker and Chairman should take immediate action by disqualifying the rebel legislators. They said that the CLP was ready to provide video proof against the rebel legislators.
They maintained that the CLP was in consultation with the legal experts on the issue and would not keep quiet unless action is taking against the rebel MLAs and MLCs. (INN)
