Disney to produce ‘Mira, Royal Detective’ TV series

New Delhi [India] Nov 30: Disney Junior is all set to produce ‘Mira, Royal Detective’, their first ever TV series inspired by Indian culture and customs.

The animated series for kids will be set in the backdrop of Indian-inspired land of Jalpur. The leading character ‘Mira’ who’s a brave, bold and creative girl, is appointed as a royal detective as she sets out to save the Kingdom’s young prince Neel, reported Entertainment Weekly.

15-years- old girl, Leela Ladnier, will voice the lead character, while Kal Penn, Hannah Simone, Aparna Nancherla, Freida Pinto, Jameela Jamil, Utkarsh Ambudkar and others will also be a part of the cast.

Each of the Tv series episodes’ will be of 22 minutes with authentic music and dance elements. It is scheduled for a 2020 release.
