Disney sues company for ‘bootlegging’ characters

Washington D.C., Nov. 29 : Disney has filed a lawsuit against a company accused of illegally copying their prominent characters.

According to Disney, they had sent a cease and desist letter last year to the producers of ‘Aventura Congeladas’ (Frozen Adventure) and demanded the company to kill all marketing and promotion of the show because it copied the mouse house characters, TMZ reports.

In a new lawsuit, Disney has stated that the show eventually started up again under a new name ‘Vacaciones de Aventuras’ (Adventure Holidays), which also includes Marvel heroes like Spider-Man and Captain America.

Disney has demanded millions for use of its trademarks characters. (ANI)
