(Siasat News) A strong protest was lodged on the third floor of “J” Block of Secretariat yesterday to agitate against the hostile and discriminatory behaviour meted out to a Muslim employee belonging to Telangana Region for more than an hour.
Principal Secretary of School Education, Mr. Shanth Mahapatra, IAS instructed his driver Mr. Mohammed Yaseen to report to G.A.D. as he didn’t want his services. This news spread in the Secretariat. The employees of Secretariat condemned the orders issued by Mr. Mahapatra and alleged that his behaviour is uncultured and he is harassing the employees of lower grades. They told him to study the rules and regulations. Later, Mr. Mahapatra assured the agitators that he would keep his orders in abeyance. On his assurance dharna was called off.
