Disability couldn’t deviate Ataullah from his goal

Life of 17-year-old Shaikh Ataullah, student of B.Com in St. Marry’s College, Yousufguda is worth emulating for all youth. 10 years ago Shaikh Ataullah lost his two legs and a hand when he was trying to take off the kite entangled in an electric transformer though an iron rod. He felt a tremendous shock and became unconscious. He suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Gandhi Hospital at Musheerabad where doctors with the good news of saving 7 year old child, informed the grief-stricken parents that his body parts needs to be amputated otherwise the poison could spread in his entire body. Thus his two legs and a hand were amputated.

However Shaikh Ataullah continued his education and proved that disability can’t deviate a person from his goal. Ataullah is leading a life close to normal; he roams about in his college on electric wheel chair or on roads on friends’ bikes. He passed 10th class with 90 percent marks and secured 75 percent marks in intermediate. He wants to become an IAS officer. He attributes his courageous life to the complete support of his parents.
