Mumbai, October 30: Bollywood director Zoya Akhtar, daughter of well-known lyricist Javed Akhtar, has again signed up his loving brother Farhan Akhtar for her upcoming venture.
On the sidelines of the Osian’s-Cinefan Film Festival in the National Capital, Zoya told, “’It’s a road movie set in Spain about three boys and one of the three characters is definitely Farhan. I knew I wanted him. I was very clear that I wanted to work with him again.”
Zoya added that Farhan is not only playing a role in the film, but also write dialogues for it.
She said, “I am just wrapping the script. He’s (Farhan) going to be working with me on the dialogues”. No final decision has been taken about the rest of the lead roles for the upcoming film.
In her first film, “Luck By Chance”, Farhan played a role of an insider who uncovered Bollywood’s dark underbelly of power politics. It was a story of two struggling stars who were trying to get a break in the industry. The film also featured special appearances of superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan.
Talking on her new project, Zoya said, “It’s probably simpler on a level than ‘Luck By Chance’. It’s may be feel good in that sense.”
