Kolkata, January 25: Film maker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, whose Bengali flick ”Antaheen” bagged four national awards including the Best Film, said he could not initially believe that his film was adjudged the best for 2009. “I am genuinely feeling good.
This has definitely brought more responsibility on us. This is good for the region as a whole too,” Roy Chowdhury, known as ”Tony” in Tollywood circles, told PTI. Admitting he was ”pleasantly surprised” on getting the news of his movie getting the awards, Roy Chowdhury said, “I felt proud for my friends getting their dues.
” He was referring to the other three national feathers of best female playback for Shreya Ghoshal, best cinematography for Avik Mukhopadhyay and best lyrics for Anindya Chatterjee and Chandril Bhattacharya. “All of them did a fabulous job.
” To a question, the young film maker said he was working on two-three scripts, two of them fictional works of eminent writer Sunil Gangopadhyay and another of his own and would finally settle on the next project in about a month”s time.
