Mumbai, August 06: The Kapoor clan may be known for its illustrious filmi background that has given several superstars from a single family, yet, it is believed that Kareena Kapoor’s and Ranbir Kapoor’s family hardly socialize!
According to that latest B-town gossip, Deepika (Ranbir’s girlfriend) and yesteryears multitalented actor Rishi Kapoor shared silver screen with Kareena’s beau Saif Ali Khan in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and surprisingly none of the actors let their personal issues foreshadow their professional commitments.
However, last week when the troika of Deepika, Rishi and Kareena came to Delhi, long legged Dips made her intentions clear by staying away from Bebo and spending quality time with her prospective father-in-law Rishi Kapoor!
In a newspaper interview, when the lissome actress was enquired whether there are any rifts between her and Ranbir’s family, Deepika said, “We were all in Delhi together, all of us … Saif, Kareena, Imtiaz, Giselle Monteiro, Rishiji and me. And we had so much fun. I don’t know where these stories of friction come from.”
Nevertheless, Deepika was at her candid best while acknowledging that she does not regularly meet Ranbir’s parents. The subtle beauty said, “We don’t meet that often. But when we do, the vibes are just fine. It’s sad I didn’t have too many scenes with Rishiji during the shooting of Love Aaj Kal.”
When asked about the love of her life -Ranbir, the doe-eyed beauty broke into a smile and said, “And we have absolutely no problems getting along. It makes exciting copy to say we don’t get along. But that’s not the truth.”
