Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) launched diploma courses in Civil and Mechanical engineering here recently. While addressing the students after inauguration, Prof. Karunakar Rai, Principal, Karnataka Polytechnic, Mangalore said that, “it is essential to impart technical education in rural areas. I am glad to see that the Bearys Group has taken such an initiative.”
Syed Mohamed Beary, chairman of Bearys Group said that he had dreamt of presenting the technical skills knowledge to the students in rural areas who do not get opportunities to pursue their higher studies. Now the dream has come true.
“BIT is different from other technical institutes. It has well established laboratories and dedicated faculty members to train students in the best manner possible,” said Dr. S.A.Khan, principal of BIT.
Dr. S.K. Raikar, Sr. Advisor BIT, said that the students will be provided with practical knowledge here and they also have the option to take up engineering courses after they complete their diploma.
