‘Chief Minister does not listen to anyone nor he has confidence in anyone’ asserted Congress MLA and former state minister Dr. Shankar Rao. He further stated ‘If fee-reimbursement is diluted it would cause irreparable damages to both the Congress and the government.’ Talking to media at assembly Dr. Shankar Rao said Congress had promised implementation of fee-reimbursement scheme through its political manifesto, today the scheme is being diluted on various pretexts.
The recommendations made by the cabinet subcommittee is not acceptable to any section of the society, hence regardless of the burden it levies on the government treasury, Dr. Shankar Rao demanded maintenance of status quo on fee-reimbursement scheme.
Dr. Shankar Rao took a dig at chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy saying that chief minister does whatever he likes, which is against democratic doctrine.
